It has been a while since my last post in the blog but I have been really busy looking after my clients. It has been a hectic start to the Wedding season!
But I wanted to take some time to do a post about this couple. It was such an amazing way to start the weekend, when last Saturday I received this from Vicky and Miguel, one of my loveliest couples! I must admit that I got a bit emotional, but these guys will never stop surprising me as they are truly amazing!
Photographing their wedding was a real treat and I truly wish them all the possible happiness in their future together!

I was amazed when I first saw them as this bouquet came flat packed (Yes!!! I know!!!) So it actually fitted through my letter box.
Next post on this blog will be the couple itself and I can't wait to share them with all of you!
There is nothing that makes me happier than making the couples that I photograph their weddings happy. I received this on the post today and I have a giant smile all over my face!
"Dearest Carmen
Thanks so much again for our beautiful wedding photos. You really made our day extra special by making sure all our precious moments with family and friends were captured. We particularly enjoyed our shoot outside and have been very impressed with your hard work and attention to detail.
Much love
Alastair & Terese xx"
Terese & Alistar wedding was fantastic, they are such a great couple! Terese has an amazing eye for photography, she can appreciate a good picture so the pressure was on! You ca see some of their wedding collection in this link http://carmenweddingphotography.com/p433508132
My approach to wedding photography is very much on the documentary style I just photograph what happens around me, I capture expressions, moments, without been prescriptive or obtrusive, or setting things up. The result are pictures like this, the expression of this wedding guest, thats the reaction to a joke or a comment that someone did, and it is all natural, all just happened, and all those little moments together make your wedding day. My aim is to capture them.
Jaymaa and Vimal are all just about one word: LOVE. This super cute couple asked me to take some Engagement Pictures around their meaningful spots around London. Here they are at the stairs of the Covent Garden restaurant where they have their very first date, a place like this brought lots of emotions and butterflies to their tummy, I thought it was a brilliant idea to revisit this place for their Engagement Portrait session.
It is Friday! And how happy this lovely pair look? Anna and Peter's Wedding took place at The Charterhouse http://www.thecharterhouse.org in London. I never photographed a Wedding there before, it is a true gem well hidden in the heart of Clerkenwell! I will be posting more about the venue and this couple but I couldn't wait to share this happy photo of the newly weds! Congratulations!
Here I leave you an image of Terese and Alastair right after their Wedding Ceremony. The light was so beautiful then, right as the sun was setting.
I steal them then for a couple of minutes from their Wedding Guest, whilst their were sipping glasses of gorgeous champagne ;-)
So this morning was really windy and this brought to my memory Marine and Edouard Mayfair Wedding back in May. It was a really sunny day, like today, but the wind was blowing really strong, and as a result this pictures happened strong highlights and very dark shades with a bit of drama from the wind! But nothing could take away the smile from their faces! In fact I think they laugh even more!
